Project PB&J: the winners!

Finally!

We know you’ve been waiting to find out the results from Project PB&J. First, though, we want to thank everyone who participated. You all have created great recipes, which made judging beyond difficult! Thank you to our sponsors, too. Without you, we wouldn’t have such an amazing prize pack to give away.

And now, without further ado, here are our winners!

In the pb&J sandwich category, we had entries ranging from traditional sandwiches, to peanut butter quesadillas, and a French toast sandwich. We loved the creativeness! The entry that stood out the most to both of us, though, was Big Fat Baker’s Homemade Fluffernutters.

We appreciated her attention to detail to the most important components of the sandwich — the fillings. Not only did she grind her own peanuts, but she made marshmallow fluff! How neat is that? So congrats, Big Fat Baker, for your entry and your win!

Finally, we have made our decision on the winner of the baked goods category. This was incredibly tough! It was more difficult to judge than the sandwiches because the recipes ranged from cookies, tarts and pies, cheesecake squares, peanut butter cinnamon rolls, and brownies. You can’t directly compare such different recipes! However, we managed to whittle it down, then debated over our remaining picks until we chose our winner. That winner is The Sweets Life’s Mini Peanut Butter and Jelly Ice Cream Cheesecakes!

What stood out to us in this recipe were all the different components, from the peanut butter cookie base, the homemade strawberry cheesecake ice cream, and the cute mini peanut butter and jelly cookie toppers. The colors are vibrant and scream EAT ME NOW. We felt that Natalie created a unique twist, and for that, we congratulate her for her win.

Now, here is the list of the winners of the random giveaway prizes. We chose the winners by a random number generator.
